Wanna win 400 EURO, get free food, and help out the environment/your campus all in one evening?!? Then sign up to the TCD Green Incubator X Blackstone Launchpad event in TCD Innovation Academy, College Green, D2 this coming Monday 26th March – 5 to 8pm!

What is the TCD Green Incubator?

Brought to you by Blackstone LaunchPad and TCD Plastic Solutions, the TCD Green Incubator is a short and informal team-based competition (2-5 people per team), where each team will present an idea which improves TCD’s sustainability in under three minutes. This quick-fire approach means we can hear many ideas in a short-space of time, with the judges from Blackstone Launchpad then picking a winning team and giving them a WHOPPING prize of €400! And if you want, post-event, you can continue working one-on-one with Blackstone Launchpad to build on your idea.

Any & All ideas are welcome – big or small! If you have an idea but no team, don’t worry. Just email us your idea and we can add you to a new team. There will be a fantastic speaker prior to the event (Brendan Tuohy – Chairman of the Centre for Marine & Renewable Energy + President of Irish Academy of Engineering), and free food during and after the event for those who attend.

*** PLEASE EMAIL (launchpad[at]tcd[dot]ie) by *11am Friday 24th March* with your ideas and we will select the best ones to enter the competition (see below for details regarding this email). ***

What to put in the email (100 words max):

  1. - What is your name and who are the team members (please include email addresses of all members)
  2. - What sustainability/environmental problem on the Trinity College campus have you identified / Is there an area in which Trinity College can act more sustainably? (in less than 30 words)
